Supplier Diversity + Sustainability Listening Sessions

Invitation to a Special Discussion Regarding the Intersection of Supplier Diversity and Sustainability

Increasingly, supplier diversity professionals are being asked to also lead their organization’s “sustainable” purchasing efforts. Joan Kerr, PG&E’s Director of Supplier Diversity and Sustainability, knows intimately the opportunities and challenges associated with such an expansion in scope. As a board member of the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council, Joan is organizing a new peer-to-peer discussion group to support professionals similarly working to advance supplier diversity together with a holistic set of social and environmental responsibility goals.

To ensure the new peer-to-peer discussion group meets the needs of professionals like you, Joan will be hosting “listening sessions” on both July 27th and 28th, in order to accommodate people’s busy schedules.

We hope you can attend one day or the other to share with your peers the challenges, opportunities, questions you may be having as you expand your leadership role to include both supply chain sustainability and supplier diversity. From these discussions we hope to build a relevant and useful agenda for future sessions. You do not need to be a member of SPLC to attend.
