The Council supports professionals working on sustainable purchasing in a number of ways:
The Council’s program committees have codified a number of best practices in the Council’s Principles for Leadership in Sustainable Purchasing v1.0, Guidance for Leadership in Sustainable Purchasing v2.0, leadership case studies and a number of companion worksheets and other resources. Professionals relying on these resources can have the confidence that they were vetted by the purchaser, supplier, and public interest advocate representatives on the Council’s program committees.

Member-to-Member Sharing Calls
These virtual discussions present a unique opportunity for members to share their leadership work, experiences, and challenges with one another. During a Sharing Call, two to three members kick-off the discussion by sharing 5 minute presentations about their work related to the topic. Other attendees are then invited to share their related work before general discussion begins. The facilitated discussion is designed to move the conversation from current challenges to future leadership opportunities and tie back to Council activities. Chatham House Rule applies.
