RobecoSAM’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) is the rating system behind the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) and other indexes, rating the sustainability performance of companies across the economic, environmental and social dimensions.
The rating consists of an annual analysis of the sustainability performance of more than 3,500 companies covering the major stock market indices. Participating companies receive a benchmarking scorecard that provides them with information on their results and benchmarks them against their industry down to criteria level. RobecosSAM also publishes an annual Sustainability Yearbook, which includes names of the top 15% of companies, and groups them into Gold, Silver and Bronze performers.
The independent assessor found that RobecoSAM met the SPLC Supplier Ratings Framework, with a solid organizational structure, transparent rating methodology, scalability and recognition by investors.
