Ride Your Bike!


Bicycle racks are provided at the base of the stairs leading to Bell Harbor’s main entrance. The racks are located near the Maritime Event Center across from Anthony’s Pier 66 restaurant. Visit the City of Seattle website for up to date local bike routes.

Take Public Transit!


Metro transit offers many bus routes to take you within walking distance of Bell Harbor. The Waterfront Streetcar Line Bus, MT 99 stops at Alaskan Way & Clay, two blocks north of Bell Harbor. Additionally, six buses service the 1st Avenue & Lenora Street stop, where there is a simple walk down the stairs or elevator ride to Alaskan Way, one block away where Lenora dead ends at the bottom of the hill. Once past the stairs down or the elevator, walk two blocks to the right to Bell Harbor. The bus routes are:

On Foot


From the heart of downtown Seattle, visitors can walk down the Pike Street Hill Climb* via the Pike Place Market, and walk approximately 0.4 miles northwest (to the right if looking at the waterfront) past the Seattle Marriot Waterfront. Bell Harbor will be on your left. For additional walking routes, please use the map to the right.

* The Pike Street Hill Climb is the nickname for a popular staircase behind the Pike Place Market, and the stairs will take you to the waterfront and Alaskan Way. Signs in the Market will direct you there.

Driving


To Bell Harbor International Conference Center traveling south on I-5:

  • Take exit 165B towards Union Street
  • Turn right onto 4th Avenue
  • Turn left onto Wall Street
  • Turn left onto Elliott Avenue
  • The Bell Street Pier/World Trade Center Garage, located at 2323 Elliott Avenue N, will be on your right next to the Art Institute of Seattle

To Bell Harbor International Conference Center traveling north on I-5:

  • Take left exit 165 for Seneca Street
  • Turn right onto 4th Avenue
  • Turn left onto Wall Street
  • Turn left onto Elliott Avenue
  • The Bell Street Pier/World Trade Center Garage, located at 2323 Elliott Avenue N, will be on your right next to the Art Institute of Seattle

Please note the two parking garage entrances, Elliott Avenue and Wall Street.

Flying


The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is the closest to Bell Harbor Conference Center and The Edgewater Hotel. The airport code is SEA. The Airport is approximately 15 miles from the conference center, with travel time by road between 30-60 minutes based on traffic.

LINK Light Rail (runs from 5 a.m. – 1 a.m. every 7.5 to 15 minutes)

  • Take the LINK towards Link to Seattle from the St Light Rail & SeaTac ACS Stop
  • Get off at the University Street stop
  • Walk 15 minutes to the Bell Harbor International Conference Center by heading Northwest on 3rd Ave toward Union St.
    • Turn left onto Western Ave
    • Turn right onto Union St.
    • Turn right onto Alaskan Way

Driving:

  • Get on WA-518 W from Airport Expressway
  • Take State HWY 509 N to 2st Avenue South in Seattle
  • Slight Right onto 1st Avenue South
  • Continue to Alaskan Way S
  • Continue straight to stay on Alaskan Way S

Train


Those taking the Amtrak into Seattle will get off at the King Street Station. Taxi’s are available in front of the Train Station as well as close access to public transit.

Parking


We recommend parking in the Art Institute of Seattle’s parking garage, which connects directly to Bell Harbor and World Trade Center Seattle via the skybridge and can be accessed on both Elliott Avenue and Wall Street.
