Eliseo Rojas oversees and directs all aspects of the company’s strategic sourcing, procurement and supplier diversity functions. Interpublic is one of the largest providers of marketing- and advertising-related services in the world.
Prior to joining Interpublic, Eliseo was a Vice President of Global Procurement for the Cendant Corporation, the largest provider of real estate- and travel-related services in the world Before joining Cendant he founded ETR Business Solutions, Inc., a certified minority-owned consultancy firm that specializes in supply chain management and supplier diversity.
For 14 years, Eliseo was Chief Procurement and Supplier Diversity Officer for TIAA-CREF, the largest pension system in the world and a Fortune 100 financial services company. Previous to his involvement in procurement and supplier diversity he was a Vice President in the Securities Operations Division of Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc., a large brokerage and investment banker.
With more than two decades of senior-level management positions in large corporate environments, Eliseo has a solid background in developing and executing strategic plans. He is a visionary and a hands-on manager with highly developed negotiation skills and experience cultivating strategic business partnerships.
Eliseo is recognized as a leader in the procurement and supplier diversity arenas and very involved in creating partnerships between minority- and women-owned businesses and corporate America. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Immigration Advocacy Matters, Inc. and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization (WPEO). He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Minority Supplier Development Council and previously served on the NY/NJ Minority Supplier Development Council and chaired the audit committee. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the National Minority Business Council, where he served as Secretary.
Eliseo is a native of Peru and came to the United States in 1973. He attended DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University.
