Jessica Slomka is the Manager of NSF International’s National Center for Sustainability Standards (NCSS). Her primary areas of responsibility include overseeing the development of sustainability standards and Product Category Rules (PCRs) for building products and materials, carpet and flooring, fabrics, dimensional stone, furniture, greener chemicals and processes, photovoltaic panels, roofing membranes, electronic servers, services and wallcoverings. Jessica has experience in GHG, energy modeling, LEED auditing and consulting, LCA analysis study and verification for Eco-Efficiency Analysis. She is an active member of USGBC’s LEED Advisory Committee, ASQ, and was a contributing author for the Standardization Roadmap: Energy Efficiency in the Built Environment, ANSI, June 2014. Currently she is a panel member on the EPA’s pilot process for Environmental Performance Standards and Ecolabels for Federal Procurement. Jessica holds a Masters of Architecture in sustainable architecture and she is a LEED AP with a specialty in BD+C.
