Randy Weimer

Corporate Environmental Manager

Randy Weimer is currently the Corporate Environmental Manager for Stillwater Mining Company in south-central Montana. Randy has degrees in Environmental Engineering and Chemistry and has over 20 years of environmental management experience in the mining industry. This experience and knowledge includes both open-pit and underground operations and various levels of processing including heap leach, mill flotation, smelting, and refining. He’s successfully worked in various jurisdictions with differing environmental/governmental requirements; and, at all stages of mine development and operation from exploration, into baseline characterization/permitting, through operations, smelting, and refining, and finally into mine closure and reclamation.

Randy is a 4th generation Montanan and currently manages the Family Ranch in south-central Montana in his spare time.
