Scott recently retired from Procter & Gamble after 30 years in their Purchasing organization. The last eight years Scott led P&G’s global asset recovery program (GARP), delivering 85 zero waste to landfill plants (a 60% reduction in waste to landfill) five years ahead of goal, and delivered >$2Billion (over eight years) in value creation via the waste streams and remnant sales/repurposing efforts.
Today Scott’s consulting business helps other companies in their asset recovery/sustainability efforts. He also teaches a variety of Sustainability classes (undergrad, MBA) at Xavier University in Cincinnati. He is on the Board of Directors at Matthew 25: Ministries, a highly regarded disaster relief non-profit organization. Scott has been to Haiti twice with M25M. Scott is a former U.S. Naval Officer and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.
