Betty Padilla

Supplier Diversity Program Deputy

Betty Padilla is the Supplier Diversity Program Deputy for Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company in Littleton, Colorado. Betty began her career with Martin Marietta in 1988 and has been in Supplier Diversity for 29 years. Betty has stimulated small business utilization on a multitude of major programs throughout her career, becoming a subject matter expert in her field. Inclusive of Betty’s role is to develop and execute Mentor Prot_g_ Agreements, encourage SBIR/STTR support, supports proposal efforts to maximize inclusion of small business participation, interacts with various government customers, actively participates in both in-reach and outreach, mentors both externally and internally on processes that have a positive impact on the success of the LM’s Supplier Diversity Program. Betty holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from the University of Colorado, attended Antioch University and the University of Northern Colorado, focusing on post graduate studies in Administration of Higher Education. In her spare time, Betty actively supports community organizations, enjoys spending time with her grandson, hiking, biking, and writing her first book.
