Travel & Transportation

Below are several way to make your way to the 2017 Summit. We have listed the options in order of most to least in carbon savings.

By Bike

It is recommended to store your own bicycle in your room. There is no bicycle rack or bike garage at the hotel.  If you would like to rent a bicycle, visit a Denver B-cycle station and return at a nearby station. The nearest station to Sheraton Denver Downtown is 2 blocks away at 1550 Glenarm. This is a fun, easy, and affordable (not to mention sustainable) way to get around the city and often it can also be the quickest way!

By Light Rail

Offering over 30 convenient stations on several lines, RTD Light Rail gets you to where you need to be! Convenient stations near the Sheraton Denver downtown located at 16th Street & Stout, 16th Street & California and Union Station.

By Bus

RTD Local area bus service runs 365 days a year. With over 10,000 stops and convenient online trip planning, maneuvering the bus system is a breeze.

 From DEN Airport to Venue

By Light Rail

Denver International Airport (DEN) now has a direct rail connection from downtown to the airport. The Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) University of Colorado A Line offers convenient access and reliable transportation to and from the airport and provides direct access to airline check-in, baggage check and security screening at the airport.

Cost: local ($2.60), regional ($4.50) or airport fare ($9.00) depending on your destination

Train departs every 15 minutes and has 8 stations total, including Union Station and the Denver Airport station. Take the Free Mallride from Union Station (1 block from the station on Wynkoop and 16th) to Sheraton Denver on the opposite end of the 16th Street Mall area.

Shuttle Service

Denver International Airport offers a number of shared ride service options.

Ride Share

Ride Share is available via Lyft or Uber. Pick up location details are provided in the preceding links. To minimize your carbon footprint, please consider the option to share your ride with others traveling to downtown.

Denver International Airport has more than 10 major rental car companies serving Colorado travelers.  Car rental agencies are located on airport property and provide courtesy shuttle service to and from Jeppesen Terminal.  Shuttles pick-up and drop-off from Jeppesen Terminal Level 5, Island 4, outside doors 505-513 (east side) and 504-512 (west side).

Denver International Airport is located outside of the city proper. It is about a 35-minute drive time without traffic to Sheraton Denver Downtown via E-470 toll highway. When driving to or from the airport on the E-470 toll highway, a photo will be taken of your license plate and sent to the place of vehicle registration for toll collection. Other fees may apply per your rental vehicle agreement. For more information contact your rental car company and visit E-470.com.
