Principal and Vice President of Global Corporate Sustainability, Resource Recycling Systems (RRS)
Anne Johnson is a principal and vice president at RRS and co-leads the Global Corporate Sustainability service sector. She has more than 20 years of multi-disciplinary experience working with global consumer product brands and manufacturers on sustainable product and packaging design and recovery, as well as corporate sustainability strategy and goal setting. She also works on international solid waste and recycling issues, particularly in Europe and South America. Anne was key in developing RRS TruCycle, an assessment that analyzes product packaging recyclability or compostability. Her previous positions as director of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, consultant at McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry, and subcontractor for the US EPA have added to her expertise in life cycle thinking, packaging and waste management systems, and sustainable materials management. Anne is currently on the board of directors for Keep America Beautiful.
