Maureen Taylor is the Chief Operating Officer of Slade Gorton & Co., Inc., one of America’s largest importers, distributors and manufactures of premium fresh, frozen and valued added seafood products. Slade Gorton is a woman owned, multi-generational family business committed to feeding America with wholesome, nutritious and sustainable seafood. In her leadership capacity, Maureen supports a continued focus on best practices in Food Safety, Sustainability, Regulatory Compliance, Strategic Sourcing, Manufacturing Excellence and Logistics, ensuring an efficient, food-safe and ethical supply chain. Increasing consumer access to sustainably harvested, delicious seafood is at the core of Slade Gorton’s mission. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University. Prior to joining the seafood industry 17 years ago, she worked in banking and operations for a national retail chain. Maureen lives in the Boston area with her husband and Great Dane, Vito.
