Manager, Seafood Engagement, World Wildlife Fund
Michael Griff serves as Manager, Seafood Engagement at the World Wildlife Fund and is responsible for the management and execution of sustainable seafood sourcing strategies with US as well as global companies. Michael has extensive knowledge of the seafood industry and global seafood supply chains. Prior to joining WWF Michael was the Senior Commercial Manager and team lead with the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) US. As Senior Commercial Manager Michael worked with the team on outreach to retailers, food service partners, product companies, processors, and distributors advising and assisting them in their adoption and development of their sustainable seafood sourcing initiatives. Prior to working in seafood conservation Michael held various marketing roles with leading consumer product companies. Michael brings more than 20 years of experience to his role at WWF and holds a MA in Advertising from Michigan State University.
