Sally Shaver

B.S. in mathematics from Furman University, Greenville, SC M.S. in environmental engineering from Clemson University, Clemson, SC

35 years of government service in the field of public health and the environment and has state, regional, national, and international experience. She worked for the State of South Carolina, the CDC, and primarily for the US EPA.

The last half of her career at the US EPA was at the Senior Executive level and the last year there she served as the agricultural policy advisor to the Administrator. She has broad experience in regulatory programs under the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act. She managed both the national criteria pollutant and air toxics programs and numerous air and water programs for the southeast region.

She served as a member of the USDA Agricultural Air Quality Task Force.

In April 2009, Sally left the public sector and established her own consulting firm which specializes in agricultural and environmental policy.
