Volunteer Opportunity: Program Assistant

Commitment: Minimum 8-10 hours per week (flexible schedule), for at least 3 months

The Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council (SPLC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting sustainable purchasing practices worldwide. We bring together professionals, organizations, and institutions committed to advancing sustainable procurement to drive innovation, efficiency, and social responsibility in supply chains.


Position Overview:
SPLC is seeking a passionate and proactive individual to join our team as a Volunteer Program Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in updating our online member community and providing support for various programs and research initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Scan through and update resources available on the online community
  • Conduct research on sustainable procurement trends, best practices, and case studies to support program development.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to program and operations management, such as data entry and document organization.


Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Interest in sustainability, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
