SPLC Board of Directors Issues Call for Nominations

June 18, 2025 – The Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council (SPLC) is actively seeking dynamic and dedicated leaders to join its Board of Directors. This pivotal opportunity offers individuals the chance to significantly impact the SPLC's mission to empower purchasers, suppliers, advocates, and experts globally to drive sustainable procurement practices.

“SPLC is seeking highly engaged fiduciaries and ambassadors who are passionate about leveraging procurement as a powerful force for good,” said SPLC CEO Marc Heisterkamp. “Board members play an instrumental role in guiding the organization's strategic direction, expanding its reach, and championing its critical cause.”

Responsibilities of an SPLC Board Director include participation in quarterly meetings, active contributions to committees, and assisting in the identification of new funding opportunities. Board appointments are for a three-year term, commencing in October 2025.

Applications for Board Director positions are currently open and will be accepted through July 18, 2025.
