Regional Connect Events

In October 2025, SPLC brought its community together in a new way with the launch of our first-ever Regional Connect events in Boston and Santa Clara. These gatherings reflected the heart of our mission - connecting people, ideas, and action to build a sustainable world through the power of procurement.

SPLC’s inaugural Regional Connects marked an exciting milestone in our work to strengthen community through local, in-person engagement. Designed to be intentionally smaller and regionally focused, these gatherings brought together members and non-members from the public, private, and higher education sectors for meaningful conversations and collaboration. Both events followed zero waste standards and partnered with local, women-owned caterers with a business model committed to sustainability.

Each day featured an inspiring lineup of speakers, live Peer Learning Circles, and ended with engaging networking sessions. Attendees also enjoyed local sustainability tours - ChopValue in Boston and Charm Industrial in the Bay Area - for a first-hand look at innovation in action. The inaugural Regional Connects set the stage for future gatherings that bring sustainability leaders together to connect, learn, and collaborate. We look forward to continuing this momentum and expanding these conversations in new cities and communities in the year ahead!
