Dallas College purchases hundreds of millions of dollars of products and services to meet its mission to transform lives and communities through higher education. The vision of the College is to ensure that Dallas County is vibrant, growing and economically viable for current and future generations. This case study outlines the College’s efforts over the last decade to build a comprehensive approach to sustainable procurement with a focus on the three pillars of sustainability (equity, economy, and environment), and an investment of more than $209.8 million from FY2019-2022.
